Looking at Hawaii for an August trip. Our first time there. Any advice as to where to stay on Maui would be appreciated. Just my wife and I. Will visit the nearby islands but use Maui as home base. Probably 10 nights. Will have rental car. Plan to do the Hana Road, etc Don’t like huge crowds and high rise hotels. Looking for low rise with a more laid back atmosphere.
