At all levels of the program, I see and hear the attention to detail. For example, in player interviews you repeatedly hear them politely accept compliments but then mention how a teammate's actions (on the play they are getting praise for) really was a difference-maker in it being a big play at all. (Trevor Kardell talking about Joy Gilbertson is a good example). I love seeing this!!! The ability to flexibly look at the micro and the macro is huge developmentally. Also, the growing capacity to have an ambivalent hold (the dynamic tension of good and bad aspects both occurring vs all-or-nothing experiencing) on what is occurring in each game and in the program's development is what a winning culture (also personality) looks like.
These are exciting times seeing positive FOUNDATIONAL growth happening before our eyes.
Rock Chalk!
