Rewatched this game for the 1st time last night. Very interesting game.
This was the career ending game for Washington. Such a sad evening. You could hear a pin drop for the entire 20 minutes he was down.
I had forgotten how good Barmann was when he wasn't rushed. Great touch and threading the needle. Several times he looked horrible ,throwing off his back foot when the pass rush was there. Three interceptions and a bad fumble in the 1st quarter. But the dude kept at it and nearly brought the team back for the win with some really nice plays.
OL struggled against the blackshirts.
Cornish wasn't himself that evening and that hurt, but he still had over 130 yds.
The secondary looked really bad at times, with Webb (FR corner) getting burned bad at least twice. Talib looked good, of course.
