The one thing KU needs to consider/worry about is being 'out recruited' by ksu for the KS students.
Yes, KU has great out-of-state numbers for enrollment, but most of these grads go back home or elsewhere upon graduation. Whereas the 'in-state' kids upon graduation look to stay around the state of KS.
SO if this trend continues for the next 10+ years the state of KS will be much more populated with ksu grads vs. ku grads... Some food for thought and I think its time for KU to invest in BOTH BB & FB as well as admission standards. I think one of the main reasons for ksu's increase in KS kids in enrollment is their success on FB field. So unless we want a state that is more ksu than ku then ku needs to look at getting more 'in-state' kids because of what they will do upon graduation...
