After rewatching Illinois and UNLV I didn’t feel like Grimes was the problem. I don’t need to rewatch West Virginia to know that the players aren’t the problem. Something is rotten in the staff. Maybe its Grimes, maybe it’s something bigger than that.
Unfortunately it’s probably still too early to do anything about it. We have a nice little 3 game stretch where even if we play like we have the last 3 weeks, we should still win every game. It will be fools gold. We’ll talk ourselves into saying we’re back, but the virus is in our blood. Wish I knew what the answer was.
Lose one of these next 3 and you can kiss a bowl game goodbye. Someone’s head would have to be cut off at that point.
