All year long Calipari claimed he was going with the platoon system regardless of the game or situation. Interesting that in the biggest game of the year he essentially abandoned it. The Harrison twins, Towns, Lyles and WCS all logged nearly 30 minutes, while Booker and Ullis had 19 & 17 respectively, with no other player getting 10 minutes. Had Cal used a standard 8 man rotation throughout the season you have to wonder if his team would have been better prepared.
