I have enjoyed the guys at LJW providing their list of Players that need to play their best in order for KU to have a chance this year. I know they did this last year as well. Curious what your top five players that need to do well. I am surprised that the QB position wouldn't be first, then perhaps followed by every OL starter. Regardless here is my list. You will notice my heavy emphasis on Offense.
1. Ryan Willis - He has to be the top guy if we have a chance to win some games this year. If he isn't a solid performer than it is going to be another long year.
2. Kinner - Need a healthy quick RB to create some things when big holes aren't there to find. Kinner has to play really well for us.
3. Gonzalez - Need a WR that can create separation and has some speed. Obviously blocking and catching should be assumed. If Gonzalez isn't playing up to expectations then who is Willis throwing to?
4. Left Tackle - Not going to name names here just saying whoever is playing that position needs to be a stud.
5. Right tackel - Again not naming names but if it is Banks or whoever don't care we need them to play big!
