Word is he may now reclassify to the 2015 class. He was in Ames last night for the Iowa State game, but he may not be able to go there if he reclassified to this years class. I guess his AAU coach has had some affiliation with ISU over the last 2 years and this would disqualify Yakwe from attending their unless he went prep school first.
Is outside game is still raw but his size and athleticism is through the roof. He's a lefty like Kelly but much more physically developed. He and his teammate, Cheick Diallo, are both from Mali and would like to attend the same college if they could.
Both have parts of their game that are raw but there ceiling is extremely high and you won't find two more physically imposing players in this year's class if they both come out together. Frankly I'd much rather they both came here than Iowa State. Seeing those two run the floor under Hoiberg scares the living dickens out of me.
What are some others thoughts? Does this change your mind on Diallo if that means getting Yakwe? They would be essentially replacing Cliff and Kelly.
