I recently had a chance to catch up with 2019 Louisiana DB Chester Kimbrough and he is one of the Jayhawks prime targets in the state in the 2019 class.
Here's a portion of what he had to say about Kansas:
In His Words: “Kansas is really showing me a lot of love. Coach Hull was my head coach so he's been back in Louisiana doing a lot of recruiting and he's the one I've been talking to. I think that's probably what it is, we have that relationship and that connection and that's something that other schools don't have.”
On potentially joining other Louisiana prospects in Lawrence: “It would be a good experience to go a school like that where I have people I already know. That makes it easier to go far from home knowing that there's more Louisiana guys up there.”
