Recruiting is crazy and I don't think there is one specific correct answer to how each recruit should handle his recruitment since each situation is unique.
But reading this story about Darrell Baldwin Jr who at one point in time had a KU offer but waited, didn't get any other offers, KU filled up at his spot, then injured his knee, and is now walking on to Stephen F Austin shows what can happen. The thing that sucks is I can respect him not making an immediate commitment because he didn't want to be a guy that backed out of his commitment later and make sure it was the right place, but when he said he loved everything about KU and looking back he should have committed it shows that the grass isn't always greener. No hard feelings in the article and it shows KU handle this the right way...but if you are a recruit you have to remember things like this can happen...
