So a couple of days ago during Spring Ball, Maryland lost it's DC Scott Shafer when he stepped down for personal reasons. Instead of waiting until Spring Ball was over, Maryland hired Kentucky's LB coach Andy Buh and he starts there now. Kentucky is waiting until Spring Ball is over with to replace him, but in the mean time a familiar face in Louie Matsakis will be working with their special teams.
It doesn't seem common at all for moves like this to be made during the season, has there been any other similar moves like this made during Spring Ball around D1 schools?
