He and some teammates were fundraising outside a Hy-Vee in Gladstone. I saw this giant kid down at the opposite door from where I was, so I asked his teammate if that was him and he took me over and introduced me. Dominique was friendly and seemed a little shocked that a stranger knew so much about him and that he was at the BBQ last week. He said it was a good time and that he really does like the new staff. I regret to say that I forgot to ask who catered.
I asked him who his top 5 were, and he said A&M (I told him the chics there suck so forget about it), Oregon, Ohio State and Florida State. I piped up and said Kansas and he laughed, and said he'd definitely take an official visit. Not that this is breaking news, but we've got some stiff competition. He looked very athletic and well built for a 300 lb. kid and had a solid handshake. I hope LL can work a miracle and land him!
