One of the biggest star of the NCAA Tournament thus far hasn't been a player.

When McNeese State men's basketball manager Amir Khan led the team out of the tunnel with his swagger turned up and a boombox around his neck, the moment was a instant smash. Khan, who was already under the NIL umbrella for the Cowboys has reportedly added a few zeros to his account.

Nothing is public, but source from McNeese State have told Forbes that Khan has raked in deals "North of six figures” following the tournament appearance.

An overnight success story in the NIL world with calls from Topps, Buffalo Wild Wings, Insomnia Cookies, TurboTax, Epic Games, and TickPick. Just a few of the companies coming to the table with Khan, who currently has at least twelve NIL deals to his name.

"It definitely is (business is rolling), but it's because of these guys," Khan told Fox Sports during an interview last week. "It's because of this team."

Under Armour got into the act as well. Reps for the outfitter scrambled to send Khan a custom jumpsuit before McNeese State's final game of the season. They flew into Providence to hand deliver the one-of-a-kind outfit in team colors. One of the most touching stories that isn't likely to fade going into the Sweet 16 round this weekend.
