TOPG - 2.0 2.4 1.8
Probably a controversial take because of the amount of hate Harris gets, but the issue isn't Harris. It's that as a pass first guard he didn't truly get to play with ballers that were worth passing to. If Gradey Dick or Furphy stayed one more year or McCullar didn't get injured last year there would have been more wins and his legacy would be different. But he didn't really get the opportunity to play with a fleshed out starting 5 or a Langford at his peak.
Recency bias will likely overrun this argument but Harris was a solid, limited college PG in the mold of Aaron Miles that was on flawed teams his last 2 years. I'm ready for the new era of KU players but still feel bad for the kid. At least he got a 'ship.
