I might have misinterpreted what he said but toward the end of his segment with Bob & Josh, he made a comment about recruiting that caught my attention.
Obviously we all know a lot of these elite level high school kids we have been recruiting for quite some time. A couple of them have already visited campus. With that being said, Greg mentioned more than once that the staff may be looking for more of a finished product like a fifth-year transfer or a JUCO player. Made mention that the staff would really love to have another Tarik Black. He said the most glaring issues with this team was toughness and also a lack of a real rim protector as well.
He said multiple scholarships will likely be available. If we can land a guy like Zimmerman or
Diallo to go along with Carlton Bragg, a 5th-yr transfer big, and another guard, whether it's a transfer or high school stud like Newman, it will go a long way in helping rectifying many of our issues.
