Guarding the inbounds pass...Do or DONT

The last two times we have not guarded the inbounds and they go coast to coast in less than 5 secs. Why?

We let the guy have a running start streaking down court for uncontested layups. To me you pressure inbounds and it kills time and teams end up with hurried jumpers or long range 3s. Not uncontested layups.

Just me but we obviously need to go the Plan B.
