Gradey Dick was at the game yesterday and we had a great talk at halftime. He’s got a busy schedule coming up with the McDonald’s All-American game festivities, GEICO Nationals, and then the Nike Hoops Summit. Obviously, Dick will make his way to Kansas this summer and, while I don’t know what the roster is going to look like for sure, my guess is Gradey is going to make a big impact as a freshman.
Here’s the thing about Gradey. As good as he is on the court, and he’s really good, he’s just as impressive off the court. He’s going to be a fan favorite for a number of reasons. Obviously, because of his play on the court, but also how he conducts himself off the court.
So polite, always gracious with his time, outgoing, and just an overall great young man. Kansas fans are going to love Gradey Dick.
