JP Morgan screws up and causes some stick holders to be hurt when stock goes down. The stock is now above where it was as a result of the no no. Only those that sold stock got hurt. Federal government fines Morgan 800 million. stock holders that sold stock still hurt-fed gets 800 million. I know this is an over simplification of "the whale" as the Morgan wrongdoing is called, but why should the government get one damn penney? In many ways our government is comprised of "legal thieves". I know there are at least 2 lawyers on this board that will say there can't be "legal thieves" but it sure explains what they are doing.
