I guess I don't understand. I have never understood why people get so bent out of shape when 16, 17 and 18 year old kids change their mind. I changed my major 3 times in college, I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. When I was in high school, I wanted to go to Texas A&M more than anything... they offered me a conditional acceptance and I chose to go to KU instead...best thing that ever happened to me... I wouldn't have the friends I have now and I probably would not have met my wife.
Here's my point. You guys that get so mad about de-commits really need to take it easy. I mean every time we have one of these threads some of guys call out other commits' parents to come in and give you warm and fuzzies. The treatment of Jared Hocker was the most embarrassed I have ever been on this board. Kudos to his Dad for handling the situation on this board extremely well.
I love a majority of the discussions we have here but the player bashing needs to go.
And Zenger needs to stay and see this Beaty thing through, we can't bring a new AD in right now.
