Yeah Duke wilted under Houston’s pressure.Kind of eases the pain I felt after KU blew a lead late v Houston
They had some tight games. Gonna have their work cut out for them against UF.Nice shout out by Sampson to B12 brethren. Credits B12 for getting them ready for this stage
UH was 1-4 in OT this year. SmhCryer just alluded to the ku game when they beat us in 2 ot’s
Ironically, the last time KU looked tough was against Duke.I miss having tough teams that won games they shouldn’t have.
I'm glad he laughs about it. SMHIf it gave Hunter terrible flashbacks, imagine what Zeke was thinking.
Would be Awesome to end up (3-1) in such gms.Big XII has had 4 different title teams in the last 6 tournaments
Of course! It was a bad call, but Duke got plenty of calls and as you stated UH had the rebound anyway.Fans are up in arms about Flagg’s over the back call, but Houston was getting the rebound anyways
Heck.....more time off the clock and maybe Duke doesn't get the 3.7 secs. left opportunity if not called.Of course! It was a bad call, but Duke got plenty of calls and as you stated UH had the rebound anyway.
Flip side, if the foul isn't called maybe Houston doesn't score to take the lead?Heck.....more time off the clock and maybe Duke doesn't get the 3.7 secs. left opportunity if not called.
For the first 30 minutes, it seemed to me that Duke's passing was brilliant and they were finding the open man every time Houston tried to double-team. In the last 10 minutes that wasn't the case although Proctor missed some open looks.Sampson a hell of a coach. ESPN talked about the effective double team defense Houston has run this year and that it could be a problem in slowing down Duke offense. That was key this game.
