One aspect of team play it appears to me that Coach Self wants to address through restructuring of his roster is getting to the free throw line more often. KU ranked 338 nationally in free throws attempted. Only two Big 12 teams shot fewer free throws. He's trying to add guards that can get downhill and drive to the basket and get to the line. He's bringing in tough-minded, physical and bigger guards and wings to achieve this purpose.
