I'm wondering if it's harder to get any inside info on recruiting foreign players. We've undoubtedly turned our attention overseas and have 3 scholarships left. With the swings we took on Sarr and Williams, and almost getting them, you have to assume we still have enough cash to lure a starting caliber player and then another depth player or two.

Obviously it will be interesting to see if Nikolas Avdalas and Ben Henshall end up playing in college next year instead of going the NBA path. Both are wings, would start right away, make good money and get plenty of exposure. Especially at a place like KU who has a need for their position, will have more scouts at their games then most teams, and will offer them a chance to showcase their skills, while playing next to a top 3 draft pick.

There's also guys like Marco Radunavic who might be a great fit for us at the 3 and nobody has really mentioned him yet. There's the two forwards from Croatia from Shays update, there seems to be several prospects out of France, and even a guy from Mexico who's a 6'7 wing with a lot of upside who might go the NBA route.

It's very hard to try and predict who their looking at because I imagine getting recruiting updates on guys who live outside the US is harder to do. However, there's no doubt the staff is cooking something up, and after looking into it a bit there seems to be more options then I thought.

Hopefully we start to hear something more official on who we're after soon but there's been a few names thrown around in the media, and still a few guys that would get the juices flowing again if land them..
