Give me a 5 of him and call it a ****ing day. Best freshman point guard at Kansas I’ve ever seen. Only one close is Aaron Miles and he had Collison and Gooden to feed it to, not to mention Hinrich to carry the load. This dude was our only primary and dependable ballhandler for the entire year and he was amazing. Obviously a lot of comparisons to Frank, but I would say Dotson is a year, maybe 2 ahead of Frank in his development. Obviously he’s gonna get better, but I am going to cherish watching this dude for as long as we have him.
And for those chiming in that he needs to get better at finishing.... he shot 62% at the rim this year. Here are some numbers to help someone appareciate that
Dtae (Sr.) - 44%
Frank (Sr.) - 56%
Ellis (Sr.) -62%
Frank (Jr.) - 50%
Wiggins - 63%
