It was 3rd and 2 on the last drive and we had to get to the 35, Daniels does a QB run up the middle, gets tackled as he lands on the 35 and…nothing.
Live, it looked like an easy first down, now looking at the replay, which isn’t a great angle, it’s clear his chest lands on the 35. Obviously, it’s possible his knee was down first or he was holding the ball nowhere near his chest (neither are clear), but it looks like an obvious first down to me.
In such a crucial situation, how was that not at least reviewed?
