I know we all love what's going on with KU football. The wins, recruiting, portal, offensive creativity. Halftime adjustments. But one other improvement really stood out to me yesterday.
Yesterday was my first game this season in person. I've had season tickets about 35 years and have seen lots of warm-ups.
I played football thru high school. It's my favorite game. I feel like I know and understand the game pretty well.
Our pre-game warm-up was WAY more organized and efficient than any I've witnessed over these years. Each position group had multiple players getting reps every few seconds. There was WAY more going on than in a usual warm up. I was very impressed with our coaching staff's influence on preparation. They're getting those guys ready!
