I think it is pretty obvious that this was not a Clemson fan that left the message...but then it makes you wonder who left the message. Was it a Michigan fan knowing it was between them and Clemson for the recruit? Was it a rival of Clemson like South Carolina? Some other school?
Although this wasn't social media, I have to think things like this go on as well - someone makes a fake college team fan page and does dumb stuff like this. It is what it is, but to actually go and do a fake call to a recruit at 2:30 AM...that's pretty bad...
