Circa releases their Over/Under's for the B12

7.5 Would mean we win all the games at home for sure. No slip ups against the wildcats. We have a lot to prove. Schedule at least seems fair other than the blemish at Columbia, Missouri. Also known as the center of the universe for drunken village idiots.

So many things can happen, but this team is experienced offensively and with a QB who can make things happen,
The way they played toward the end of last year leaves me with good feelings. Thinking we likely gain one over prediction rather than lose one. 8-4 would be good, but 9-3 would mean we are better than the experts say and likely means we beat KSU.

New coordinators, new faces all over the 2-deep, a talented QB that has struggled to stay healthy, OL questions.

Just so many unknowns with this team. I am cautiously optimistic.

I would say somewhere between 6-8 wins. Hope for more.

I was on Sirius radio last week and they hit me with that number and asked me what I thought and they stumped me. It's not often I'm at a loss for words on KU football but I didn't know how to respond.
my buddies asked me what I thought it would be and I was left stumped for a while. is it possible we push and end up with exactly 7 and a half wins?

My takeaways: (1) ASU is too low, yes they lose Skattebo, but they bring back most of their defense, which was great last year and plenty of starters on offense too; (2) TCU seems too low; and (3) Houston seems high.

I highly doubt we see as much chaos / uncertainty as last year, and we do play 5 of the lowest teams. That Utah game at the end of the year could be a real wildcard - will that be their coach's last game? Can Dampier stay healthy as much as he runs?

Edit to add - Very winnable games: Fresno State, Wagner, WVU, Cincy, UCF, OSU, and Arizona. We need, need to go 7-0 or 6-1 in those. More difficult games: MU (away), TT (away), KSU (home), ISU (away), and Utah (home). I'd be happy with 2-3 on these, any more is gravy.

What Sirius channel were you on (if you want to disclose). It's difficult to find Big 12 content

I'll take 7-8 wins this season in a heartbeat. Beating the purple turd will be one of several highlights.
I can't help it. If it were one or the other - KSU or MU - I think I would chose a win over MU in Columbia just to see Drinkawhatever explode and then cry. In KC, it would be divine deliverance. The only way that could happen is if they have a qb blow up with Cook gone. We should not be playing this game. Having said that...what a way to begin a new era in a new stadium with a win over KSU.

I think I'd take the under on 7.5. There's maybe 2 gimmes in there and far too many 50-50 games to be on the over.
