This is impossible to predict in today's game, but I think we would all prefer to look at something potentially very interesting about the level of talent that's shaping up for next season.

@Keno3217 this is where your arrogant knowledge and experience of the game is much appreciated so if you're interested please comment..

Here's my realistic wish list that I think is not only reasonable but somewhat probable, and ultimately would be effective in my opinion:

C: Bidunga/Tiller/Clemence(maybe a transfer if Clemence leaves?)

F: Transfer in the mold of CB or JWILL ideally. If not, let's play a 4th guard with some size like Passmore if he can develop well enough to give us an athletic defensive specialist. Can Passmore make 34% or better from 3??

G: Griffen (although I have a feeling he transfers so a wing shooter again is extremely important. Hopefully a true 3 and D like Ochai eventhough this person likely won't be as good as Och)

G: Peterson (putting him at the 2 but he's basically positionless and will have the ball in his hands day 1 and I've seen some suggest that we shouldn't even recruit another PG to play next to him, but I don't agree with that at this time)

PG: Transfer ( in my mind this is what can make the season, unless Peterson truly is your exclusive PG, which in that case you find a guy like Mayo to play alongside him for shooting and guard duty help, which it looks like theres a chance that Mayo might actually be able to come back and I would gladly take that) Ideally I want a scoring PG who can lock up other teams guards and is a threat to score. I'm biased and still have a man crush for guards like Mason, Graham, Dotson, Sherron and even Remy. Does that interfere with Peterson needing the ball in his hands a lot? Don't know..

The bench is even harder to predict right now but I'd guess that Tiller, Jackson, Coit, McDowell and Calderon would be the guys competing to crack the rotation as things stand now, however l bet some of these guys aren't here next year and we will have a transfer or two in the mix. Shelby is kinda intriguing because he's 6'3 and has a beautiful looking 3 pt shot, just don't know if he can do much else?

My hope is that we actually bring a solid amount of these guys back because with another year under their belts and the big 3 gone I like the idea of team continuity and chemistry. I know we will need transfers but I don't want 8 guys in their first year at Kansas again if we can help it. I know we will have a few transfers inevitably and Peterson and Calderon will be Freshman, but 4-5 first year guys to mix up with returners would be my personal preference as long as the first year guys are very well vetted to fit specific and clear roles early on.
