Several months back there was a thread talking about KU and branding. It was mentioned that there is s lot of hesitation with partnering with alcohol companies to use the Jayhawk brand. A few posters brought up the frustration of not having, specifically, wine bottles with the Jayhawk/KU.
I was getting myself a Father's Day 6 pack a few minutes ago and saw 2 bottles with the KU brand. Both were black bottles. 1 had ROCK CHALK in crimson and blue and the other had a silver Jayhawk. $50 per bottle at Myers liquor store in Topeka.
Pretty cool looking bottles and will be picking at least one of them up next time I go in.
