Seems like Bill can point out a lot of advantages of coming to KU for next year.
For big men, he can point out that we need another body of two down in the post (depending on what Perry does, I think the writing is on the wall for Cliff) and be a presence offensively and the focal point on that end of the game (Talking about Zimmerman, Diallo, Maker?, Thorne).
For a wing, he can point to that Kelly is now leaving for the NBA so we have a starting spot and minutes up for grab. He can also sell that he has coached two wings in the past two years that went on and became lottery picks (at least that's what Kelly is projected) after their freshman year (Talking about Brown and Ingram, I guess Newman too but doubt we are a destination for him).
Going back to Brown's comments about Bill Self speaking to these guys about how he will prepare them to become not only basketball professionals but mature men. Hopefully that pitch has struck a chord with other guys as well.
HCBS can also talk about the basketball schedule. If I were one of these recruits, I would be jumping at the opportunity to go play in South Korea and represent the United States at the World University Games (I guess that wouldn't apply to Diallo and Maker but the rest of them). Also we are going to Maui, playing in the Champions Classic vs Michigan State, possibly playing Kentucky in Allen, and other big games. Should be a really fun schedule and going to a number of cool places to play ball.
The final point, which I am not sure if it will be ready by the late summer/fall time, is the new dorms for the players, which will be very awesome for them (will that be completed for the players to move in to next semester?).
