Big Tech Says Goodbye to California

Kind of BS of them to make the price of housing shoot through the roof in SF, then complain about the price of housing.

Regardless, as pointed out they're moving to Austin, a liberal bastion in an otherwise ruby state. Plus, I'm willing to put California's economy for the next 10 years up against Texas' and Florida's.

If enough of them get there, maybe they can oust the Neanderthal Republican grip on Texas.

That would be nice but I'm not holding my breath. I've been reading a number of articles talking about how the GOP plans on using their claims of voter fraud to ramp up voter suppression efforts. And if there is any place they will be effective at that it's Texas.

Generally, yes. Bay Area? The main culprit, by far. They’ll go into Austin and do the same thing.

Already happened. Housing in Austin is much more expensive than other parts of Texas, including Houston and Dallas.

The tide is shifting quickly in Texas. I'm not sure the GOP can do it fast enough to keep up. If they have a prayer of holding onto their grip, they must convince minorities that republican is the way to vote.

lol RMHawk I love you man but this is the 10th California thread you've created over this lmao.

We've gone over this a hundred times.

Also before you start another thread, Larry Ellison is officially leaving CA too.

PS

Remember in April the census comes out.

Yup. Mark my words on California. Just checked 2019 and net out migration continues, per U.S. Census Data. I have fun poking fun at the coastal travails in NY and CA.

It’s too expensive, nobody lives there. Lol.

It sucks all of the New Yorkers moving to NJ. Not funny at all. Move to Maine, or Delaware. They made the cost of my new home cost 25% more.

I’m sure you’d be first on board to be offended by liberal coastal elites for statements about flyover country and attacking rural life.

I for one am glad that Big Tech is moving to TX.

Silicon Valley will always be Silicon Valley, it ain't going anywhere.

Just more and more blue votes in TX. Soon the Electoral College deniers will be begging to switch to a popular vote when it's their only shot.
