"I can tell you straight up that when Schoonie left, the staffers that took over as lead recruiters for the local guys did not do a great job of being consistent on building relationships. It wasn't that Schoonie left that turned these guys off of us, it was that the guys that took over for him didn't seem to show the same level of emphasis in recruiting these kids as Schoonie or KSU.

We botched several KS kids already because of this. They weren't in the bag by any means but, we essentially handed it over to KSU because of this. We have no room for error because KSU is always in their ears, using our history of losing and not caring about local kids against us."
