Ivory Jackson told me KU is a school close to the top of his list. He was supposed to attend a KU junior day but couldn't make it. He said he plans to take a summer visit to KU.
"Me and Coach Perry talk a lot and we have already built a strong relationship," Jackson said. "He has talked to me about the family atmosphere and how they’re rebuilding the program."
Perry recently visited Amarillo to stop into the school and see a practice. Kansas was one of the first schools to offer Jackson.
"They told me they liked my athleticism and high motor," Jackson said. "They said my hands are good and they like how I play the pass rush and the run. Every time I talk with coach. He says I can be an impact guy in their program."
Jackson said Kansas, Kansas State, Houston, Texas Tech, and North Texas are recruiting him hardest.
