When did the student section that was above the KU bench get removed?

Loved the "load the wagons" banner the students made but I will say these kids are getting quiet on defense especially the last few years. Was nice to hear them last night in overtime.


EDIT: Did some digging on youtube intro videos last few years and looks like 2017.. now with this thread I'm more curious about why it happened.
