Russian boots on the ground in the Ukraine just moved up to number one. This really a complex problem that Putin's lack of respect for Obama can really cause some big problems. Ukraine wants to become a part of the European Union and a member of NATO. Putin can't have this happen because he then be unable to re-unite the USSR. NATO chief says they have no skin in the game with Russian troops in Ukraine. The world bank is looking at helping Ukraine with finacial problems. Ukraine wants free elections. This whole mess is going to get pretty ugly. Putin sees the push to cut our military as great for him. Having lived a great portion of my life through WWII, Korea, and the Cold War I am very alarmed at this. It will really be tragic if a huge conflict is once again what helps draw us out of an economic downturn. It's too bad we don't have some of the great leaders we used to have.
