I think we can all agree that college basketball is seriously in need of some fresh ideas and innovation. The game is boring, the play is not good.

OAD is here for at least a few more years and that's out of the NCAAs control anyways so there's nothing they can do about that. I also don't see that as the big problem anyways, but that's another argument.

What would you think about adding summer ball (like fall ball for softball/baseball)?

Say teams had a month to practice 3x a week and could play 4-5 games against other teams.

say it lasted from June 15-July 15. Gives kids a chance to go home after spring semester, still gives them a month before fall semester starts.

In terms of bball it allows coaches to legally work with kids over the summer instead of just letting them play pickup against each other with little supervision.

I'm willing to entertain any idea that could possibly get college ball to a point where it's enjoyable again.
