After Mr. Schmelzel committed, I got to thinking about other players at KU that came from 8 man football.
Obviously, we all know about the Ransom Rambler, Nolan Cromwell.
Have we had other 8 man products who made a meaningful contribution at KU?
Despite being a badass DE in 8 man at 6'1, 160, somehow KU (and every school) failed to even acknowledge who I was. Maybe lack of athletic ability and size, etc may have been the reason. lol.
I came from a school where everyone had to go out to field a team.
Our great playoff run ended when we were roadkill for Midway-Denton.
