I’m interested to have @JK chime in here on what he’s heard.
After not landing a single freshman WR in 2024, we look to the 2022/2023 class and any incoming freshmen.
2025: Looking at the freshmen first, I’m not sure who can have an impact day one. We have a clear open gap at WR with all our seniors graduating, so I’m sure someone will break through. Is Jaden Nickens going to look that way?
2024: No WR signed.
2023: Keaton Kubecka is the name that stands out most to me. I saw a lot of positive talk about him over the past 2 years and he acts like he’s ready to make an impact next year.
Jared Sample is the only other WR in the class after Buncom transferred. Assuming he stays, I’m not sure what impact he can have. Redshirted 2023 and does not appear to have registered a stat in 2024.

2022: Oh god we didn’t get any WRs this year either.
2021: None of the WRs from this class remain on roster.
Plenty of opportunities for our incoming freshmen to earn time. We have 4 athletes and 2 WRs signed to the 2025 class. Just hard to imagine we trust freshmen out there next year for much of anything.
