Well, I pretty much never have any "inside" news (obviously this won't qualify either), but I was speaking with someone very close to the football program yesterday and essentially reaffirmed what many on this board have been saying for while. The WHOLE staff pretty much knows the next year and probably 2 are going to be a whitewash. It was sort of scary hearing some of the details. Basically, the theme will be instilling an uptempo, fast paced run and gun offense...all the while knowing they will not win. I realize this is really no news, but I did not realize that literally nobody believes this year can possibly be a decent year. The guys are out recruiting like hell (save DB at the moment), but I am pretty confident KU will not win a game for a long time. Really very sad.
