Last 3 years have arguably the worst in the Self era. I think 05, 06, Self was putting together the players that fit his system and many of the Roy left overs did not buy in as well as we had some transfers...so I give him a pass for those years.
Hopefully HCBS will re- evaluate everything and if necessary make the right changes. I want Self to coach at KU for a long time, but even the great coaches need to step back now and then and re-evalute what is working and what isn't. I am not smart enough to know those answers but I think Self can and will figure it out. Keep the faith!
