The out of control wildfires are added insult to these injuries: $5-6/gallon gasoline, unreliable and unaffordable electric service, out of control real estate and property taxes, traffic gridlock, and I could go on but those are the obvious reasons. U.S. Census Bureau projects actual population declines by the 2023-25 timeframe. Destinations for California expats include Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and South Dakota. California is a failing state. This phenomenon has been coming on for nearly a decade. This is why I don’t want to see our country governed like failed California. And New York falls into that same category. The thought of being governed like the gruesome twosome gives me a migraine.
