1. Win more than just 6 games for eligibility, which we are on our way. But fans can really do nothing to change the outcome.
2. Have a reputation as a university that your fans and alumni will travel (buy tickets, meals, hotels) to the sponsoring city.
We did pretty well at the Liberty Bowl last year,
So when time comes for our AD to start negotiating bowl invitations, it would be nice if he knew in advance that he had XXX number of bus loads of students with tickets ready to go along with a pre-sale deposit on bowl tickets from the rest of us.
Are Slant members willing to call the ticket office and ask in advance for bowl game tickets?
Are Slant members willing to ask for “one extra” ticket to give a scholarship ticket to a student who pays for their own bus ticket?
Just ideas…..Please make suggestions for how we motivate all Jayhawks to get on board for the next bigger and better bowl game.
