- Home prices rose 27.5% - Great if you're a vulture that gentrifies neighborhoods, bad if you're trying to break out into the middle class. Home ownership is a critical key to becoming more self-sufficient and bootstrappy.
- Illegal immigration increased. Apprehensions at the Southwest border rose 14.7% in 2020 compared with 2016.
- The murder rate in 2020 rose to the highest level since 1997.
