the media is talking about god knows what worthless crap. Fast track on such mammoth agreements and issues should not be allowed. The TPP is good for dare near no one except multinationals. And this isn't even truly a trade agreement. of the 29 chapters in it, only 5 of them deal with trade, the rest are about giving corporations rights over ours. Our democracy is on the line and once again our media has failed to keep the government in check by informing the populace. The state we are in currently is disgusting, after Citizens United got little back fire coverage, to leading the tea party against Occupy wall street, to the NDAA being pushed aside by other bullshit duck dynasty fabricated stories. It's over guys unless we do something. This is not a partisan issue. even if you are a big supporter of free trade, you'll look at this and be up in arms. Read more about it, but one of the worst things about the TPP is that it will give corporations the ability to sue governments...ie if we pass a GMO labeling bill or water quality regulation bill, corporations can sue the US government for infringing on their trade/business. That's a load of crap. One other red flag is that it was being negotiated in secret, and it was not til this summer that congress was even able to see it. the public still can't, well wikileaks spread it illegally, but you know..I think this thing has been a long time in the making, and its important that we know about it, because the media is doing an absolutely terrible job reporting on it.
