State by State and County by County are being pressed hard to open up. I live in Clay County MO (the northland of KC. Clay County is saying they will open up on the 24th. Businesses are shutting down and/or filing bankruptcy. It's kind of "the cure is worse than the disease type of situation. IMO the pressure is going to be so strong that the local entities will be forced to relent and allow openings. Then the onus will really be on each individual as to how careful they choose to be. One thing would help is if the reporting on number of cases, deaths related to the virus, and age groups was more accurate. The supply of seabs, face masks, and testing needs to pick up the pace. The onus for this lies with the states and the individuals. It has nothing to do with politics. The federal government can set the basic standards so employers feel safe and liability free when they bring emplpyees back. The race is between when formal regulations are in place and the populace pushing things open.
