Braun was probably our best player off the bench today. I thought he gave us some huge minutes. Furphy works really hard, but he needs to learn defense at this level. He's still really young. At least he attacks the boards and tries to use his height to an advantage. I was hoping Timberlake could get better at defense because he's starting to show signs of coming out of his slump. That was a big three when we needed it to keep in touch early on. And Jamari just isn't the answer. Don't think Self was real happy about him dribbling around and then putting up a shot at that point of the game.
With all that being said, I'm really excited about what I saw out of Elmarko today. Too bad he was taken out of the game a little by the foul calls, but he definitely showed some marked improvement, IMO.
