Sorry if this is basic stuff - but how much "analytics" are used to help our shooters? Shot-tracker and other tools have to be used all the time, right?
I know it is popular to say, in Furphy's case, that he is "hitting the freshman wall" - but what does that mean? Is he not jumping as high on his jump-shots, is he leaning left/right? What tools do the coaches use to analyze good shooting nights from poor shooting nights? Same with Timberlake - what was he doing last year that he is not doing this year?
Or, is it as simple as 1. better defense and 2. between the ears?
