Keep in mind this is only with names currently in the portal. I’m sure not all these are realistic but it feels like it would be a great roster fit pieced around our other returning players.
PG: Juan/Elmarko/Philon (both the latter two would need time to develop and learn and thus wouldn’t get many minutes)
SG: Mayo/Colby Rogers (in reality Mayo would spell Juan more than the other guards leaving plenty of minutes for Colby to have a significant role)
SF: Furphy/McNeely/Passmore (doubt McNeely would come if he was coming off bench but man the quality depth is nice and we could have lineup versatility with Johnny at the 4 some)
PF: KJ/Ajayi (personally would prefer Ajayi start for floor spacing, but that won’t happen). Again, just a dream.
C: Hunter/Bidunga/Garrison? (Garrison is incredibly unlikely in this scenario but would prefer a younger talented guy willing to wait and grow in to a big role rather than another senior transfer that may take growth from Flory.
More transfers will enter the portal, some of these wouldn’t come here for the role I’m suggesting. But man, that would be a 180 degree turn from the depth and firepower we had this year imo.
