After we play OU on Saturday we get an entire week off before our next game against Texas in Allen Fieldhouse. Then we play BYU at home that Tuesday.
This bye week comes at a great time for us because we need the rest badly. If McCullar is back Saturday and Harris gets closer to 100% I could see a scenario where we play as turned up as we have all year in an over my dead body type effort where we take out our frustration on OU.
If that happens and we play pissed off Saturday, get our first big time road win, then a week off, before two winnable games at home, our momentum and season could change drastically. Health is the biggest factor but if McCullar can go with a few days to prepare I bet we see a great effort Saturday. This game is honestly a HUGE game for the aforementioned reasons and personally I like the matchup.
We can beat anyone at home, so I'm trying to think positive and hope we finally play well on the road because that would be huge!
