Obamacare has businesses hard because of its paperwork, uncertainy, possible costs, government interference etc. It hits hard at the people who already have it and might lose what they like best about it. The real pisser is that it could be fixed for the betterment of many. Pensions in the private sector and well as part of the private sector are being replaced by 401ks and retirement savings accounts. Social security stays in place. Cpmpany health insurance is a pain for companies in that they are always looking for better pricing and/or fighting increases and are involved with trying to encourage healthy living by employees. The exhanges is a good concept. The employer can either have as compensation a Health Savings Account and the employee can go to the state or ferderal exhange and buy the coverage that is best for his situation. Or the employer can just raise the compensation so the employee can do what he wants from going to the exchange or being self insured. The one thing that the governemnt needs to be out of is determining what insurance companies can and will cover. Today there exists comapnies set up to handle the HSA funds where a person can go on line and see comparative prices of insurance companies and talk to a specialist for advice.

It is nothing more than gross stupidity, arrogance, and dishonesty for congress to not correct the faults of this law and make it usable. It is not going to be repealed-that is not an option. I'll bet if congress was it lockdown and told they would dead in 72 hours if they didn't come out with a new outline to improve this mess they would do it. The main politcal sticking point is that the dems rammed it through without a repub vote. Well, put hurt feelings aside and lets get this thing fixed. This us angainst them isn't working out too well.
